The frequently asked questions below will hopefully answer some of the most common questions, however every wedding is unique. If you have any questions that I haven’t answered, please contact me here and I will get back to you asap.

Just click on the contact page & fill out the details with your wedding date to see if I’m free! I’ll get back to you & let you know the next stages from there.

I suggest up to 5 different formal group shots are taken, as your parents & grandparents like to have them as keepsakes. My style is natural, fun photography so if you book me that is something to bear in mind. I would prefer to keep the group shots to a minimum so we have more time to concentrate on all the informal photographs!. I will send you a suggested group shot list if you need any help with deciding on the group pix!

If it’s just a bit of drizzle we can probably shoot through & possibly find a shaded area. Although, if it does pour down we can shoot inside or better still take some fun photographs in the rain, umbrellas supplied! If you book me for the whole day then generally there will be gaps in the day for us to find some time to take photographs outside without it raining, we hope!

You will receive your edited images up to a month after your wedding, they will be on a USB stick in a lovely presentation box, full copyright is given. You can order professional prints, canvases & wedding books after the wedding too if you want too. I will also create an online gallery on my website for you to view your images & you can share them with family & friends.

I have back up equipment for all eventualities. I have another camera body, various lenses, memory cards & extra flash lights!

I like to go on a location visit to view possible backgrounds for your wedding photographs & it’s a great chance to get to know each other better. I think it is really important for us to get along. After all you will be spending a lot of time with me on your wedding day! I can meet you before booking if you’d like to for an informal  chat & a drink.

I charge travel costs for weddings taking place further afield than The Midlands. You don’t have to feed me as I can bring lunch with me but sometimes my lovely couples do offer me a yummy meal.

I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

I prefer to photograph a wedding on my own, especially if the guest numbers are below 100. I do have Photographer friends who can help out as a  second shooter for the larger weddings.  Please enquire for further details if you are planning a big bash!

“Donna made us feel so relaxed, comfortable and most of all she made it fun, the pictures that she took are truly amazing and so natural, we are over the moon with them, we can’t thank her enough! If we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would!”
